He said they have never been to the nation Men’s floorball league grand finals so he is very happy and excited that they won first game of their first playoff match in grand finals.
“But now, we the Sky Riders won the first game of the grand final playoff, which is nice and its show how well the teams prepare for this National Men’s Floorball League, he said.
He said despite the win, there are some mistakes that the boys also need to improve and work on
“Basically, in the first half game, we didn’t finish well, we had a lot of chances that we could scored, but we didn’t make them,” he said.
He said they are going to show 100 percent preparation for the next grand final playoff match next week on Thursday at 4 pm.
“We have defeated a lot of teams in this league and the teams that we won against in this pool matches are: Unix, Moonwalkers, SINU Panthers, SINU Knights and USP Pullet.
He said SINU Nights team is a strong team that they have not beaten since the league started until Sunday’s first grand final playoff.
“We want to improve more, 100 percent ready because we know SINU Knights is a very strong team compared to the previous team league,”
“I’m happy for my boys as they really worked hard and improved and demonstrated well in this game, we deserve to win the league title as well,” he said.
He said they need enough strength, power and skills and that, if they have that, it would be good and they need to regroup the team as well in preparation for the second playoff match.
“Floorball is not a well-known sport in the country, but please, any supporters staying at home if you wish to come and watch this game, come along and support any team you would like to support.” he said.
