HONIARA based Solomon Pride Boxing Club is inviting interested and potential individuals who wish to join their club.
A statement from the club said membership application is now open and a small number of memberships available for men and women with the commitment and self-discipline required for serious boxing training.
“Membership of our club is a privilege. We provide high quality boxing training for free at one of the most well-equipped boxing gyms in the Solomon Islands.
“If you do not want to train hard and train often for the privilege of membership, then our club is not for you.
“Interested individuals should message us via Facebook and attend one of Coach Jonathan’s upcoming training sessions at Town Ground stadium.
“Women strongly encouraged to apply,” the statement adds.
Meanwhile the Honiara Amateur Boxing Association (HABA) has set this Saturday June 16 as the date for the next fortnightly bouts.
Venue for the HABA fortnightly bouts will be at the Multipurpose Hall.
