Islanders 7s competition Friday

ONLY two spaces are left for the Islanders rugby 7s competition which is set to kick off this Saturday at the Town Ground Rugby Stadium.
Six teams are already confirmed for the competition with two spaces still open for interested teams who wish to take part in the competition.
Teams confirmed for the Islanders 7s this Saturday are, HHH sharks, Avaiki white, Avaiki black, TIA Warriors, Islander Brothers 1 and Islander Brothers 2.
Prizes up for grabs are $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place. Registration fee for the competition is $1000.
Teams who want to register for the competition can call mobile phone 7464226 for more details regarding the competition.
Meanwhile nine teams are confirmed for the second series of the Islanders 7s competition set for June 23.
Organisers say three spaces are still open for interested clubs who wish to take part in the second Islanders rugby 7s competition.
The competition will see Malaita Rugby Union Association (MRUA) powerhouse Auki Tigers competing against Honiara’s best rugby 7s teams.
Teams confirmed for the Islanders 7s competition on June 23 are Auki Tigers 1, Auki Tigers 2, Fulon Hunters, Avaiki Black, Avaiki White, TIA Warriors, HHH Sharks, Islander Brothers 1 and Islander Brothers 2.
