THE Solomon Islands Rugby Union Federation (SIRUF) will hold a Special General Meeting (SGM) at 10am on Monday, 27 July 2026, at the SIRUF Conference Room, Town Ground Rugby Stadium.
Representatives from the eight active affiliated member associations are expected to attend the meeting, which will consider reports on the confirmation of the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) minutes, member compliance and the election of new office bearers.
Officials from the National Sports Council (NSC) and the National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands (NOCSI) are also expected to attend to help ensure the election is conducted smoothly.
The SGM follows SIRUF’s Annual General Meeting, held on 25 May 2026, where reports and general activities were presented.
The upcoming meeting will focus on electing new office bearers to the Executive Board, with nominations having closed on Thursday.
The affiliated provincial member associations expected to attend are Honiara, Malaita, Bellona, East Rennell, West Rennell, Makira, New Georgia and Gizo.
