The Floorball Federation of Solomon Islands (FFSI) has expressed heartfelt appreciation to individuals, families and supporters who contributed to the federation’s successful fundraising initiative held over the weekend.

In a statement shared after the event on Facebook, the federation thanked members of the public for their generosity, encouragement and continued commitment towards the growth of floorball in the country.

The federation described the fundraising drive as a success, saying the strong support received from the community demonstrated the growing interest and unity behind the sport in Solomon Islands.

“Every contribution made during the fundraising activities will assist the federation in its ongoing efforts to develop and promote floorball across the nation, including supporting athletes, competitions and development programs,” FFSI said.

The federation also acknowledged volunteers and supporters who helped organise and participated in the event, saying their involvement played a vital role in making the initiative successful.

“We truly appreciate your kindness, encouragement and contributions, and we look forward to your continued support in the future as we continue growing and developing the sport in the Solomon Islands,” FFSI said.

The federation reaffirms its commitment to using sport as a positive platform to inspire young people and strengthen communities throughout the country.

“Together, we grow Solomon Islands through sport,” FFSI said.
