FOURTEEN ministers took their Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office yesterday at the Government House.
They are:
- Manasseh Sogavare MP as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Treasury;
- John Maneniaru MP as the Minister of Fisheries & Marine Resources;
- Peter Shanel Agovaka MP as the Minister of Communications and Aviation;
- John Dean Kuku MP as the Minister of Education and Human Resources Development;
- Jimson Fiau Tanagada MP as the Minister of Home Affairs;
- Bradley Tovosia MP as the Minister of Mines and Energy;
- Freda Tuki MP as the Minister of Women, Youth & Children Affairs;
- Moses Garu MP as the Minister of Police & National Security;
- Andrew Manepora MP as the Minister of Lands and Housing;
- Bartholomew Parapolo MP as the Minister of Culture & Tourism;
- Samuel Manetoali MP as the Minister of Forestry and Research;
- Nestor Ghiro MP as the Minister of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening;
- Dr Culwick Togamana MP as the Minister of Environment & Conservation;
- Connelly Sandakabatu MP as the Minister of Public Service.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Prime Minister Rick Hou and other senior Government officials.
The remaining ministers will take the oath of office and oath of allegiance by today.
