POLICE are investigating the suspicious death of a female Asian shop owner found lying in a pool of blood in her shop this morning.
The shop located opposite of the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) bookshop was cordoned off by Police Officers who took the body away for further investigations.
It is understood some shopkeepers were taken away for questioning by Officers as part of investigations.

Island Sun Newspaper Limited is a privately owned daily newspaper in the Solomon Islands. Island Sun launched its first issue on Friday 6th October 2006. It began as a weekly newspaper before going twice a week in early 2007 and later publishing three times a week by the end of the same year. In 2008, Island Sun was published five days a week and later added the Saturday issue in June 2014. Plans are already underway to add a Sunday issue anytime soon.
